    Summary

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology and Communication at the University of Salamanca, funded by the Castilla & León Regional Government (Junta de Castilla y León). I hold an MA in Latin America Studies and an MSc in Advanced Multivariate Data Analysis and Big Data, both from the University of Salamanca. My broader research interests include migration and fertility intention. Specifically, my doctoral thesis project will take a mixed-method approach – including semi-structured interviews and data analysis – to explore the fertility decision-making processes of the Chinese community in Spain.

I have frequently participated in national and international congresses on population, demography, sociology and migration, such as the International Population Conference (IPC), the Annual Meeting of the Population Association of America (PAA), and several proposals have been accepted in upcoming academic congresses at both national and international levels, such as the European Population Conference (ECP-EAPS) and the Spanish Congress of Sociology (FES).
